Simply insert a section into a standard gutter and slide it under the straps. The insert fits snugly and is invisible. Cut it with a scissors or knife at a corner and the work is done!

What happens when it freezes?
When the temperature drops to or below the freezing point, it doesn’t have any effect because if the downspout cannot block up there is never any water in the gutter to freeze.

When it rains really hard does the gutter run over?
No the filter is non-absorbent. It lets the water run right through.

Do you need to clean it?
No the pore size is just right to let the smallest particles pass through and keeps the larger particles on top to blow off.

How do you install it around the gutter spikes?
GutterStuff slides right underneath the gutter spikes.

Do birds and other animals harm the foam?
No, GutterStuff has been tested so far for over five years all over the country and that has never happened.

What about the tiny pieces of gravel from the roof shingles?
The gravel passes right through and gets washed down the downspout.

Does the heat from the sunlight harm the foam?
No, only the very top surface gets a little stiff. The rest of the filter is shaded so the sun’s ultra-violet rays cannot harm it.

Can the wind blow it out of the gutter?
No it fits snugly in the gutter and under the spikes.

How long has this product been on the market?

GutterStuff recently applied and received utility and design patents after extensive testing of their foam filter inserts. Recently, several competitors have tried to copy our designs and deliver cheaper products to the market resulting in inferior performance. Our designs were thoroughly tested and proven to withstand the elements. Please be aware of designs without the flat bottom shown below. This is the only design that allows the filter complete support. Others will sag and collapse eventually causing debris to collect in the back of the gutter. This can cause freezing and damage without the continual flow of water underneath the filter.
